The purpose of the Architectural Control Committee (ACC) and why you must secure ACC approval prior to making any improvements to your residence and related facilities is, 'to preserve the character, integrity and harmony of the Village of New Kentucky Community'.
Before making any exterior improvements/modifications to your home or additions to your surrounding facilities, your Annual Maintenance Fund Assessment, Special Assessment and/or Specific Assessment Account must be current and you must submit an Original, Signed exterior improvement ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW APPLICATION (ARA) Form to the Village of New Kentucky (VNK) Architectural Control Committee for approval.
Alterations and/or Exterior improvements, such as, but not limited to, remodeling or erecting/installing a Building, any exterior Painting (even to paint the same color), installation or repair of a Residence, Storage Building, Tool Shed, Fence, Swimming Pool, Patio, Patio Cover, Car Port, Portico, Walkway, Culvert Crossing, Bridge, Driveway, Parking Area, Room Additions, Re-Roofing, Siding, Masonry, Window Replacement, Antenna/Satellite Dish, Flag/Flag Pole, etc. are some of the changes/improvements that MUST be approved by the Architectural Control Committee of the Property Owners Association (POA) before any type of construction, improvement, repair or change takes place.
